If singing is not important, why is the Bible full of singing?

Psalm 96: O sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day."

Exodus: “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea."

Judges: “Hear, O kings; give ear, O princes; to the Lord I will sing, I will make melody to the Lord, the God of Israel."

1Samuel: "As they were coming home, when David returned from slaying the Philistine, the women came out of all the cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet King Saul, with timbrels, with songs of joy, and with instruments of music."

2Samuel: "For this I will extol thee, O Lord, among the nations, and sing praises to thy name."

1 Chronicles: "David also commanded the chiefs of the Levites to appoint their brethren as the singers who should play loudly on musical instruments, on harps and lyres and cymbals, to raise sounds of joy."

Judges 5: "“Hear, O kings; give ear, O princes; to the Lord I will sing, I will make melody to the Lord, the God of Israel."

Judith 16: "Break into song for my God, to the tambourine, sing in honour of the Lord, to the cymbal, let psalm and canticle mingle for him, extol his name, ..."

Deuteronomy 31: "Now therefore write you this canticle, and teach the children of Israel: that they may know it by heart, and sing it by mouth, and this song may be unto me for a testimony among the children of Israel."

Kings 2: "Therefore will I give thanks to thee. O Lord, among the Gentiles, and will sing to thy name."

Chronicles 1: "Sing ye to the Lord, all the earth: shew forth from day to day his salvation."

Chronicles 1: "And Heman and Idithun sounded the trumpet, and played on the cymbals, and all kinds of musical instruments to sing praises to God: and the sons of Idithun he made porters."

Tobit 12: "For when I was with you, I was there by the will of God: bless ye him, and sing praises to him."

Esther 13: "Hear my supplication, and be merciful to thy lot and inheritance, and turn our mourning into joy, that we may live and praise thy name, O Lord, and shut not the mouths of them that sing to thee."

Psalm 7: "I will give glory to the Lord according to his justice: and will sing to the name of the Lord the most high."
